Upcoming Model Deadlines!

Here is where the deadlines for when models should be completly finished (Model, skin, ect.)
I think our first model should be done by next week! (which one? Obelisk of light i think )

I think we should worry more about this when we have a full team and we're done with the gameplay concept phase.

I am aware that there are several suggestions for the obelisk of light, the most popular one seems to be making the obelisk taller

What do you guys think of this one:



I based it on the model on the moddb page, made the base a bit shorter at the back, and the obelisk itself bigger and sleeker

not bad but i still feel like it misses something i don't know it don't inspire fear like the one in TS

I'm going to await a little more feedback though before I move along with the changes.

I like that skin you added to the model, makes it look that much better

One thing i'd like to suggest would to make it more like the C&C 3 Obelisk, in case we want to add, idk, burrowing capabilites later

Like look at some of the concept art for it from C&C 3:

If we choose to stay with the current concept's ideas, i'd take a look at the Obelisk that "Tiberian Sun Rising" has moddeled, since it is a recreation of the Tib Sun Obby, which ours has strong influences of:

do not post the 2nd model on Moddb as i have a plan: we will lets the C&C fans choose which ine they like, ill take care about the news

Well I did see this concept on deviant art, and I thought it was pretty sweet:

i think it needs a bit more heavier armor (but not as heavy as C&C4 )

My personal take on it wud be beef up the armour plating and defintion and swap our the legs for something more human like. but i do think we could stick with how it is really

I really like the cyborg design. totally gives the "cyborg" feeling. LOL! all i can say is that EA totally screwed up the cyborg commando design.
maybe a little more bulk to the chest area to give it the heavy look . =D
