Making our first unit video
We need an animator, a texture artist, and a coder for this.
I have modelled a unit called the Shield Redeemer, T4 unit for the Defense Class, I think that posting a video of it with working skins and weapons in action will raise support for our mod, we will launch the video with the announcement that there will be "Epic Units" in C&C4, The Shield Redeemer's special ability is to make a small scrin-like shield to protect units from ALL damage for 10 seconds, this is even capable of protecting a Crawler from a nuke or Ion Cannon

FYI tibby (Tiberian Fiend) is gonna try and make the forgotton a main team in our mod

I was thinking that we should create unit demonstration videos for the 12 "epic units" in the game, each class gets 2 to choose from and these units are more T4 because they do not have a build limit.
This mod is more "1v1" than "5v5" mostly because RTS players are more into epic 1v1 and 2v2 matches rather than spammy and laggy as well as "needs your mates to stop fucken around and help because you have a popcap" team based 5v5 matches

I'm also thinking that after we make a full campaign for both sides in v1.1 that we should create a scrin support class in 1.2
I was thinking that the build should be like this:
v1.0 all sides complete and 1 prologue mission for GDI and one for Nod
v1.1 full campaign and a couple of unit updates
v1.2 bug fixes, model/texture updates and a scrin support class
v1.3 balancing, bug fixes, etc, and adding scrin assault and defense classes
v1.4 (if we get this far) Mutant Faction, assault, support, and defense

Redeemer=OK, it has a religion-themed name--Nod.
So this is either a unit that GDI stole from Nod and forgot to rename, or a unit that Nod developed from stolen GDI technology. Either way, it's ambiguous.

what would it take to put that as our shield redeemer special ability? the special ability makes all units inside of shield invulnerable for 5 seconds

yes, Nod has control of Threshold-19, which means that they have access to scrin weaponry, which makes it possible for them to mix technologies, GDI is just advancing with more firepower and bulked up units.

welll gdi also have it's share of tech advance the gdi kidiac philadelphia firestorm walls etc etc the list goes on (wait did everything i named came out of TS ... wonder why)
